Tasweldermechanics (“Tasweldermechanics”, “we”, “us”) provides industrial welding, fabrication, tank, crane and plant maintenance services across the Caribbean from our base in Sint Maarten. What information we collect
Contact form. When you fill in a contact form, we collect the details you enter, typically your name, email address, phone number and message. This is sent to our team by email to answer your enquiry.
Company Profile request. If you request our Company Profile (corporate dossier), we ask for your name and email address so we can send you the document and follow up on your enquiry.
WhatsApp button. The WhatsApp button on our site opens a chat with us on WhatsApp. We only record that the button was clicked (as an anonymous analytics event); we do not see or store this on our own servers, and the conversation itself is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, since WhatsApp is operated by Meta.
Automatic information. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools automatically log some technical data when you visit, such as your approximate location, browser type, device type, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site.
Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies, described in our Cookie Policy.
How we use your information

- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms, Inc.), if you choose to message us through the WhatsApp button. See WhatsApp’s Privacy Policy.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website’s files and any email generated by its forms.
We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry and quote correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterward for our business records, then delete it. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to ask us what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@tasweldermechanics.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
